eyeCharm for Kinect: Kickstarter

Fancy an eye-gaze unit that is the price of an Xbox or PC Kinect and $60? Sounds good doesn't it? The NUIA eyeCharm from 4tiitoo.com is looking to be just that.

The device will come with developer tools including a scripting language to set-up controls that will interface with other main-stream eye tracker units. There's three weeks to go to help them reach their goal of $100,000.

Great article!, but I think I can soved with a simple webcam, instead of tracking the eye, I can track any move to navigate and click mouse

Cheers, Don. My hope for cheap eye-gaze in the future, is something that can track eye movements, and ignore body movements. This for people who have voluntary control over their eyes, but the rest of them being affected by involuntary movements of their body. Also I guess something that's not spying on you, harvesting data to send you targeted adverts for what you show interest in (thinking current hopefully unfounded fears of Kinect One).

Have you seen Camera Mouse by the way? http://switchgaming.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/camera-mouse-2013.html
